Travel Itinerary
Day 1: visiting the Bora ethnic groups
Pick up from the hotel and transfer to the Bellavista NANAY Spa, to board our boat which will transport us along the NANAY River, entering the tributary of the Momón River to visit the ethnic groups of the Boras to learn about their culture and folklore dances with them, then we will be embarking on a trip through the wonderful and largest Amazon River on a trip of 1 hour and 30 minutes arriving at our Lodge located on the right bank of the river. Amazon. Accommodation in our comfortable rooms with private bathrooms and showers. Lunch. After lunch at the appropriate time, we will go on a botanical walk to see the giant trees and learn about medicinal plants. Visit to the animal rescue center, where we can meet monkeys, anacondas, macaws and other exotic jungle animals. Visit to the Amazon sugar mill, where we will extract the juice from the sugar cane. Observation of the Amazonian sunset. Return to the Lodge. Dinner. After dinner with our experienced guide you will be able to explore our jungle and go in search of tarantulas and also be able to distinguish the sounds of animals and insects in their nocturnal habitat. Return to the Lodge and rest in your rooms.
Day 2: visit to the indigenous tribe of the Yaguas
5:30 am we will get up to appreciate the sunrise in our Amazon jungle and we will observe the different exotic birds of our tropical jungle. Indicated time return to the Lodge. Breakfast. After breakfast we will go in our typical boat to look for the gray and pink dolphins (BUFEO COLORADO). We will swim on the beaches that the Amazon River leaves us (It is not mandatory). Visit the indigenous tribe of the YAGUAS, where we will dance with them and be part of their experience and we will learn a little about them using their hunting weapons such as the blowgun. Return to our Lodge. Lunch. We will go in our typical boat to do the famous fishing for Piranhas and other species of fish from our rivers. Dinner. After dinner the guide will tell you stories and myths of the jungle such as Chullachaqui, Tunche and other tales.
Day 3: visit to the butterfly center (butterfly house)
Breakfast. After breakfast, visit to the Butterfly Center (MARIPOSARIO), we will meet and learn about different species. LUNCH. Visit to the riverside town, where we will learn about the customs and experiences of the people in the jungle.
Visit to Garzal Lake where we can appreciate the royal victorias or floating plants considered the largest in it. World we will also observe bird species like the. Oatzin, the jabiru, old mama among others. Etc. Return to the Lodge. Dinner. Rest in the rooms.
Day 4: we will visit the paiche farm
Desayuno. Enrumbaremos en un viaje por el rio Yanayacu considerado (la selva de los espejos) y también visita al médico curandero de selva para aprender sobre el mal de gente y otras actividades como el Ícaro del cigarro Mapacho, canticos a la madre selva etc. Retorno y Almuerzo en Lodge.
We will visit the Paiches and lizards hatchery with a brief explanation from people experienced in raising these species. Return to the city of Iquitos 5:30 pm.
