Travel Itinerary
Day 1: Tour to the Boras ethnic group
Pick up from the hotel and transfer to the Bellavista NANAY pier, where we will board the boat which will transport us along the NANAY River to visit the Boras ethnic group, and learn about their culture and folk dances, then we will be embarking on a trip along the wonderful and mighty Amazon River in a 1 hour and 30 minute trip arriving at our Lodge located on the right bank of the Amazon River. Accommodation in our comfortable rooms with private bathroom and shower. LUNCH: After lunch relax in the hammock room.
Visit to the Butterfly Center (MARIPOSARIO), where we will know and learn about the metamorphosis process of butterflies and their contribution to the environment. Visit to the riverside town, where we will learn about the customs and experiences of the people in the jungle. RETURN TO THE LODGE. DINNER: After dinner with our experienced Guide we will take a night excursion where we will look for tarantulas and also be able to distinguish the sounds of animals and insects in their nocturnal habitat. Return to the Lodge and rest in your rooms.
Day 2: visit to the animal rescue center
6:00 AM we will get up to appreciate the sunrise and observe the sighting of the different exotic birds of our Amazon basin. RETURN TO THE LODGE. BREAKFAST. After breakfast we will visit the Animal Rescue Center, where we can meet various species such as: sloths, monkeys, anacondas, macaws, toucans and other animals, etc.
Visit to the Amazon sugar mill, where we will extract the juice from the sugar cane and taste the different exotic drinks from our Amazon jungle. Then we will go in our typical boat to look for the gray and pink dolphins (BUFEO COLORADO). We will swim in the Amazon River. LUNCH: after lunch we will go in our typical boat to do the famous fishing for Piranhas and other species of fish from our rivers. Observation of the Amazonian sunset. RETURN TO THE LODGE. DINNER: After dinner the guide will tell you stories and myths of the jungle such as Chullachaqui, Tunche and other tales. Overnight at the Lodge
Day 3: Visit to the indigenous tribe of the Yaguas
BREAKFAST: after breakfast at the appropriate time, we will go on a botanical walk to see the giant trees and learn about medicinal plants, lianas and, above all, the flora and fauna of our Amazon jungle. Visit the indigenous tribe of the YAGUAS, where we will dance with them and be part of their experience and we will learn a little about them using their hunting weapons such as the blowgun. LUNCH: Return to the city of Iquitos 5:30 pm.
