Iquitos Tropical Rainforest

Traslado del Aeropuerto o de su Hotel a la ciudad de Iquitos donde recibirá una pequeña descripción de la ciudad en su ruta al embarcadero para empezar nuestra travesía (9:00am aprox.) Paseo en lancha por el río Nanay hasta llegar al majestuoso Río Amazonas, el más caudaloso del mundo, llegando a nuestra primera parada. Visita a Fundo Pedrito un criadero de animales donde alimentaremos a los paiches, pirañas, caimanes, tortugas, loros, guacamayas, anacondas y apreciaremos la famosa planta Victoria Regia. Llegada a Avatar Amazon Lodge almuerzo y check in. Caminata Botánica o paseo en canoa Contamos con guías nativos profesionales que conocen todas las trochas de la zona. Podrán observar flora y fauna típica del lugar y aprender de los múltiples usos que la gente local le da a cada planta. Cena 7:00pm disfrute de una rica cena y de nuestro acogedor bar. Excursión nocturna Al caer la noche será guiado en caminata o en canoa por la misteriosa selva a fin de observar las tarántulas, cigarras, arañas, alacranes, mantis religiosa Así mismo distinguirá los cantos de las lechuzas y los “ayaymamas” y sonidos de los animales nocturnos.

Sunrise excursion 4:30am where we can enjoy the sunrise in this wonderful landscape unique in the world. Bird Watching This morning walk will take you to observe and learn about the typical birds of the area in all their splendor. Don't forget your camera and be silent so as not to scare away the animals.

Breakfast 8:00am return to our ecolodge to enjoy a delicious breakfast. Walk to the "MIRADOR" of Avatar with 25 meters. high from where you can appreciate a wonderful view of the jungle and enjoy AVATAR AMAZON PARK and our new CANOPY attraction! with a circuit of 10 stations: we will launch ourselves along 5 zip lines of different levels and lengths, 2 hanging bridges, pendulum, climbing net and rappelling... an experience full of adrenaline! (maximum weight allowed 100kgs)

Visit to the indigenous community "Yaguas", one of the 23 native communities of the Amazon River whose settlement very close to our ecolodge will allow you to enjoy an exhibition of their songs, dances, ways of hunting and crafts, candy for the children of the community as well as clothing are well received! Excursion to the Free Animal Reserve we will visit this large and original space where the monkeys will be waiting for you to have fun and get a little of your attention. We will also observe macaws, parrots, sloth bears, prehistoric “mata mata” turtle and the much feared anaconda or boa constrictor. Lunch 1:00pm at Avatar Amazon Lodge. Walk in the Jungle Exploration of the tree “La Ceiba de la Selva” or known by the indigenous people as Huimba, almost 500 years old and with an imposing height of up to 160 feet and 10 feet in diameter. Dinner 7:00pm enjoy a delicious dinner and our cozy bar. Legends and stories based on Amazonian mythology told by the guides. Overnight at Avatar Amazon Lodge.

Breakfast 8:00am at Avatar Amazon Lodge. We will go out on our Full Day Adventure in the jungle, we will navigate the Amazon River until we reach one of its branches and visit the town of San Juan de Huachalado, which we will cross, meeting its locals and its diverse flora and fauna until we reach the Yanayacu River, a black water river. We will spend the day exploring and carrying out fishing, navigation and hiking activities, we will see the famous giant tree called Lupuma, we will find the tarzan vines on the way and our guide will be in charge of carrying out the lunch. Lunch at any local's house or camp type in the jungle. Visit to the Trapiche in San Juan de Huachalado, a place where you can learn how the typical alcoholic beverages of the place are made and taste them... A Full Day of adventure and contact with nature!

Return to Avatar Amazon Lodge. Dinner 7:00pm enjoy a delicious dinner and our cozy bar. Cocktail night in our bar you can learn how to prepare local cocktails with our typical pisco, the national drink. You will be given a drink on the house. Overnight at Avatar Amazon Lodge.

Breakfast 8:00am at Avatar Amazon Lodge. Fishing for Piranhas and others This relaxing sport is practiced in an artisanal way as done by the indigenous communities of the area or with the instruments that you require for pleasant sport fishing. Swimming in the Amazon River 10 minutes from the ecolodge is the majestic Amazon River where you can swim in its warm waters and spend some time enjoying observing such a spectacular and unique landscape. Mud treatment (in summer) on the banks of the Amazon River we will find some small islands where you can enjoy an excellent bath and mud skin treatment in this fabulous natural spa that the jungle has to offer you. Don't forget your swimsuit. Observation of pink and gray dolphins, you can fully appreciate these beautiful dolphins and enjoy their elegance throughout the Amazon River. The red bufeo is a very special character in the legends of the jungle. Many women say they have once been seduced by a dolphin who turned into a handsome young man.
