Chavín de Huántar is an archaeological monument, located in the district of Chavín de Huántar. Declared a World Heritage Site in 1985. It is located 86 km from Huaraz at 3177 masl.

09:00 a.m. We pick you up from your hotel. 9:30 am Start the trip to the city of Chavin, 10: 30 am we will make our first stop at the Qerococha Lagoon which is at 3980 masl from where we can appreciate the Geological fault of the map of Peru, then we will cross the Cahuish Tunnel which has an altitude of 4450 masl, continuing with the itinerary we will arrive at the Chavin de Huantar Archaeological Complex where we will observe the ceremonial squares, the Portada de las Falconidas, the Underground Galleries, the Monolithic Lanzon, the Cabezas Clavas and others; After visiting the wonders of the archaeological complex we will have lunch in a tourist restaurant in the town of Chavin, finally after lunch we will return to the city of Huaraz where the service will end.
