A report of United States Geological Survey points out that in the Salar de Uyuni there are 21 million tons of lithium — the largest reserve of this mineral in the world, production in 2021 reached 540 tons.

Travel Itinerary
DAY 1: DAKAR RALLY, PLAZA DE BANDERAS DEL MUNDO AND THE FIRST HOTEL IN SAL.
We will begin by making our first technical stop by visiting the Train Cemetery, a place where several abandoned trains are located on the edge of the Uyuni salt flat, it is considered the largest railway cemetery in the world. Next, we will visit the town of Colchani where you can appreciate the manual salt process and the artisanal salt market, shops with llama wool fabrics, alpaca hats and ponchos. Also, the monument to the Dakar rally, square of world flags and the first salt hotel.
DAY 2: CACHI LAGOON, OLLAGUE VOLCANO VIEWPOINT
08:00 am Breakfast. We will pass through San Cristóbal, valley of rocks, Cachi lagoon, viewpoint of the Ollague volcano (5,865 meters above sea level), from where you can observe the fumarolic activity emanating from the active volcano. Altiplanic lagoons such as Laguna Cañapa, Laguna Hedionda, Laguna Honda, Chiarcota and Laguna Ramaditas which are used by flamingos as feeding and resting points during their migratory movements. Then we will go to the hotel.
DAY 3: VISIT TO THE COLORADA LAGOON
Siloli Desert where the stone tree is found which is a geomorphic formation due to wind erosion. Visit to the red lagoon which is the entrance door to the Eduardo Abaroa reserve, geysers, hot springs in polques, Salvador Dalí rocks, we will continue towards the viewpoint of the Licancabur volcano, to be able to observe the green lagoon, as the last attraction we will visit the lagoon white, and then return to Uyuni en route we can see the Valley of Rocks, the colonial church of San Cristóbal.
