Travel Itinerary
Day 1. City tours Huaraz.
Recepción en el terminal terrestre y traslado al hotel seleccionado. A las 10:30 a.m., inicio del City Tour por Huaraz, recorriendo la Plaza de Armas, la imponente Iglesia Catedral, y el Museo Regional de Ancash, donde se aprecia la historia y cultura de la región. Caminata por la Calle José Olaya, visitando sus comercios y ambiente local. Culminamos la visita en el Templo y Santuario del Señor de la Soledad, importante centro religioso de la ciudad. Regreso al hotel y resto del día libre.
Day 2. Llanganuco lagoon tour
Salida a las 9:30 a.m. hacia el Callejón de Huaylas, un espectacular valle andino de 200 km, entre las Cordilleras Blanca y Negra, atravesado por el río Santa. Recorrido por los pintorescos pueblos de Carhuaz (Borrachera), Yungay (Hermosura) y Caraz (Dulzura), destacando su cultura, tradiciones y paisajes. Parada en Taricá para visitar talleres de artesanía y adquirir souvenirs típicos de la región. Regreso al hotel al finalizar el tour, disfrutando de un día lleno de naturaleza, historia y cultura andina.
Day 3. Nevado Mateo climbing tour (5,200 m.A.S.L.)
Objective: get to the summit from the city of Huaraz and return in just one day. Difficulty: Easy to moderate (NO experience required)
REQUIRED: Acclimatization at least one day before climbing. Physical performance. Technical staff equipment in good condition.
Departure: 03:00 h. Each client is picked up at their respective hotel, which will take approximately 15 minutes by car. Once with the entire group, the guide and the mountain team will head north to the city of Huaraz (3,052 meters above sea level). to the city of Carhuaz (2,640 meters above sea level) through the Callejón de Huaylas (inter-Andean valley formed between the Cordillera Blanca and the Cordillera Negra).
Then, we will go east ascending the coils of the Ulta Valley at an altitude of 4,763 m. s. n. m, Punta Olímpica 2 hours and 30 minutes by bus, at this place we will leave the bus approx. (6:00 a.m.) where we will prepare the material and technical equipment to start climbing.
7:00 am: For the Morrena part it will take us approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes to reach the base of the Mateo Glacier (5,000 m.a.s.l.)
9:00 am: After a brief rest we will have the technical equipment (mountain boots, crampons, harness, helmet and pillory) ready to begin our ascent to the summit, which will take us approximately 3 hours.

12:00 pm: Once at the summit, we will have a picnic and take photos for 45 minutes. 12.45 pm: We will begin to descend until we get out of the snow for approximately 2 hours, then we will take off our technical equipment to continue going down the moraine. All of this will take us a total of 3 hours to Punta Olímpica where the bus is waiting for us. 4:15 pm: finally the bus will return us along the same route that we have ascended 2 hours and 30 minutes to the city of Huaraz towards their respective hotels.
IMPORTANT DATA:

THE CLIMBER MUST WEAR:

CLIMBING PROCEDURE:

Day 4. Chavin de huantar tour
Salida a las 9:30 a.m. hacia la Laguna de Querococha, una falla geológica con forma que recuerda el mapa del Perú, rodeada de impresionantes paisajes andinos. Continuación por el Túnel de Cahuish, que conecta el Callejón de Huaylas con el Callejón de Conchucos. Visita al sitio arqueológico Chavín de Huantar, incluyendo El Lanzón y las Cabezas Clavas, destacadas por su importancia histórica y arquitectónica.
