Travel Itinerary
Day 1: Kuelap Fortress Tour
8:30 AM. Begin the Tour to the Kuelap Fortress, the largest stone structures in America. Located at more than 3000 meters above sea level, a large part of the trip is on the banks of the Utcubamba River, with wonderful landscapes that you never imagined seeing. They will live an unforgettable experience traveling on the cable car.
Day 2: Gocta Falls Tour
8:30 AM. Start of the trip to the town of Cocachimba, 2-hour walk Arrival at the third highest waterfall in the world Gocta. On the route there is a great diversity of flora and fauna, you will live a fantastic experience as if it were the last day of your trip.
Day 3: Malqui Museum / Leymebamba and Revash
8:00 AM. Start the Tour Visiting the impressive Malqui Museum and rich town of Leymebamba with very friendly people, Malqui Museum (it has 219 funerary bundles discovered in the Laguna de los Cóndores), Mausoleums of Revash archaeological complex of the Chachapoyas.
Day 4: Karajia Sarcophagi and Quiocta Cavern
8:00 AM. Start of the Tour to the province of Luya visiting Lamud. (lunch), especially the Cruz Pata town. From here we will walk 30 minutes to the Carajía Sarcophagi, anthropomorphic sculptures of the Chachapoyas Culture more than two meters high. The best example of the funerary style of this kingdom.
In the afternoon we will visit the Quiocta Caverns. Enter inside to observe the impressive stalactites and stalagmites caused by the effect of groundwater for thousands of years.
